Korean Bibimbap Recipe: A Flavorful Start to the New Semester

As a young person, I was particularly fond of Korean dramas. Seeing the female leads enjoy bibimbap heartily in the shows made my mouth water! Now, let’s prepare a Korean bibimbap and acknowledge that Korean cuisine is truly simple.

Ingredients for Korean Bibimbap:


– Rice 1 bowl


– Carrot half


– Zucchini half


– Shiitake mushrooms 5


– Bean sprouts 1 handful


– Cabbage a small amount


– Korean chili sauce 2 spoons



Instructions for making Korean Bibimbap:


Step 1: Shred cabbage and stir-fry with a small amount of oil until cooked.


Step 2: Clean bean sprouts and stir-fry with a small amount of oil until cooked.


Step 3: Shred zucchini and stir-fry with a small amount of oil until cooked.


Step 4: Dice shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry with a small amount of oil until cooked.


Step 5: Shred carrots and stir-fry with a small amount of oil.


Step 6: Arrange the cooked side dishes on top of the rice.


Step 7: Place the stir-fried eggs on top as well.


Step 8: No additional seasonings are needed; Korean chili sauce is sufficient.


Step 9: Add two spoons of Korean chili sauce.


Step 10: Mix well with your hands so that the bibimbap is ready to eat.
